Account Executive (NYC)
The Account Executive (NYC) is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships, with a primary focus on the New York City market and access to KEVANI’s national media inventory. As a key representative of KEVANI in the market, this role plays a critical part in helping brands and agencies build impact through KEVANI’s distinctive and premium media asset portfolio.
This position is ideal for a high performing, relationship driven sales professional who combines strategic thinking with disciplined execution. The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle, operate with autonomy, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients across industries.
Position Overview
The Account Executive acts as an ambassador of KEVANI’s brand, market positioning, and media offerings. By developing deep agency and client relationships, identifying category opportunities, and delivering thoughtful media solutions, this role directly contributes to KEVANI’s growth in New York City and beyond.
While New York City is the primary territory, this role provides the ability to sell across KEVANI’s national footprint, offering meaningful upside and long term career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and grow relationships with New York City based agencies and brands while prospecting new business opportunities across assigned and emerging categories.
Proactively source new business through outbound outreach, strategic networking, industry events, and online tools
Present KEVANI’s market positioning and media solutions with confidence, clearly articulating value, differentiation, and outcomes.
Prepare, present, and negotiate customized proposals and agreements that align client objectives with KEVANI’s inventory and capabilities.
Independently manage time, territory, and resources to maximize sales activity, pipeline development, and close rates.
Maintain a detailed and accurate pipeline of new and renewal opportunities within the CRM, ensuring consistent forecasting and follow through.
Collaborate closely with KEVANI’s creative, operations, and administrative teams to deliver tailored campaigns and ensure seamless execution.
Support account management needs including billing coordination, campaign adjustments, and issue resolution as required.
Act as a collaborative, accountable, and engaged KEVANI team member who elevates internal culture and external perception.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and growing a book of business.
Demonstrated ability to close new business and expand existing accounts.
Strong experience building long term relationships with agencies and direct clients.
Skills and Qualifications:
Exceptional relationship building skills with both external partners and internal teams across pre sales and post sales.
Strong understanding of the media marketplace, with experience in OOH, premium media, digital, or broadcast environments preferred.
Ability to translate client needs into thoughtful, competitive, and effective media proposals.
Proficiency across the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and close.
Comfort operating with autonomy in a fast paced, performance driven environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver polished and persuasive presentations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self motivated, goal oriented, and driven to deliver results.
College degree or equivalent professional experience.
Deep familiarity with the New York City agency and brand ecosystem is a plus.
